WORKS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join the team!

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving growth across a growing portfolio of sports clients in Australia and Oceania. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring our creative work continues to deliver commercial impact.

• Identify and convert new business opportunities across Australia and
  Oceania sports markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at clubs, leagues,
  federations, broadcasters, agencies and rights holders
• Spot and act on opportunities beyond the initial brief to unlock added value
  for clients
• Act as a connector between WORKS, Champion Data and the wider
  sporting ecosystem, through proactive networking and market knowledge
• Collaborate closely with our client service account managers to ensure
  seamless communication and project delivery

• Proven commercial experience within the sports industry, with a strong network across Australia/Oceania
• Background in working with or within creative or design agencies – either client-side or agency-side
• Deep understanding of how major sports clubs, competitions/leagues, major events and international federations operate
• Excellent commercial instincts, with the ability to uncover new opportunities and drive revenue growth
• A confident communicator and natural relationship-builder with a proactive mindset
